Hanging Gardens

From November 2023, one of Mumbai’s oldest garden, the Hanging Gardens will be closed for the next seven years to reconstruct the reservoir. However, I had never visited the park and wanted to do so before this iconic landmark is demolished.

Nowadays, social media focuses and hypes up some places for content and engagement. People are always running after adventurous or instagramable places. Which at a certain extent there is no problem at doing so. But while in search for content and hyper exciting activities, we sometimes forget to slow down and take in the serenity of the present moment.

Hanging Gardens

One such place to seek tranquility is to spend time in beautiful gardens. We find a very few of them, while there should be more gardens in our cities and they should also be properly maintain.

While visiting the Hanging Gardens I realized how important it is to have open green spaces in our cities. They not only provide a calm space to take a break and rejunvenate from our daily hectic life but also provide us with so many great views amd memories.

Spending time in the Hanging Gardens and strolling the alleys of Mumbai with my friend, made me realise how these small moments make life feel blissful. Amdist life’s hustle and bustle, sometimes all you need is to spend time doing nothing with your friends.
