Side Quest : Exploring Lake #16

Hello Lovely Reader!

It’s been a long while since I explored, my own city, and I doubt I have done it by myself.

So this time I decided that it’s time to get back to the City of Lakes Project & visit Kasar Vadavoli Talao.

It’s a small lake surrounded by a little TMC garden, a mandir & a few buildings. I believe the locals (used to) immerse Ganpati idols in that lake.

If you live in that area, you can visit the small garden once in a while. It felt underwhelming but I’m glad I explored a new part of my city and got a thing ticked off my list.

Whether you live in a new city or your hometown, from time to time you should try a new route. You never know what you’ll find. I discovered a new vicinity I never knew existed & small restaurants that are now on my “Must Try List.”

At times life can get boring & repetitive. To some extent there is comfort in the same old reliable, mundane routine of life.

But every now & then you should give yourself a litte zap & go on a side quest.

It can be as simple as exploring a tiny new part of your own neighbour, taking a new route to work, or tasting a different cuisine.

That’s all for today!
Can’t stay, Blue Jay! 🐦
