“My heart breaks when the momos shop is closed”
On the weekend of 15th & 16th July, Curly Tales had organized a Momo & Maggie Food Festival in RMall, Thane. Being Momo lovers ourselves, my friend Meow & I decided to venture into this food festival.
This was my first food festival, so the night before, Meow & I scanned the whole Menu. Our mouths were watering by just reading all the delicious items. From Crispy Momos to Misal Maggie, from Ramen to Chocolate Waffles. We couldn’t wait to get there to try all the lip smacking food.

We reached RMall in the afternoon. I was entering the Mall after so many years. First we had Chicken Crispy Momos from the Dumpling Khang, six small fried momos served with mayonnaise, schezwan chutney and red chilli sauce.
The outer cover was nicley crisped, while the filling was decent. The sauce/chutney served along the momos enhanced its flavour. However, at that price, I was disappointed by the size of the dumplings. I would rate it a 7/10.

Next we had waffles from Mario Donuts & Waffles. It was delicious. The waffle itself was the right amount of sweet, so the nutella & dark belgian chocolate complimented the chocolate waffle well, and the sweetness didn’t become overbearing. I would give it a 10/10 😍 I loved it. Also this was the first time I tasted Nutella.
Finally we relished the Chicken Makhani Momos form the Momo Factory. Actually, it was the first dish we ordered, but they had some technical difficulties in their kitchen, so we got our order in the evening. But damn the momos were so good. I would give it a 9/10.

Apart from food, they had conducted some fun activites like the 360° video and a few games. On sunday, they had invited singers Harshdeep Kaur & Ankit Tiwari for a performance. Kamiya Jani, Curly Tales herself was also present to greet her fans. All in all, I had an amazing time with my friend along with the yummy food!
