An Introvert’s Guide to Travel

Traveling alone will give you a chance to grow, and it helps to discover what you can make happen.

If you are an introvert like me, but also love to travel, here are a few tips to follow when you are on your travel journey.

1️⃣ Create a Plan

The first step to any kind of traveling is to create a plan. Schedule alone time in between of activites & sight-seeing, so you can rejunvenate.

2️⃣ Choose a comfy stay

Choose a venue where you will be comfortable staying at. This is the place where you will spend your nights sleeping in and your breaks for energising, so when looking for a accommodation make sure you research it and check the reviews.

3️⃣ Befriend the locals

When part of a group, making conversation or creating a connection can be overwhelming. To enhance your travel experience, without being overwhelemed, try to befriend a local. Talk to them, maybe ask them about their favourite cafes or restaurants, etc.

4️⃣ Spend alone time

Make sure to spend some alone time to refresh and rejuvenate yourself during your trip. Taking breaks while socializing is essential for introverts, as it can drain much energy.

5️⃣ Journal

For many, journaling is like meditation. Writing down your thoughts and feelings can help you clear your mind and feel calmness.

Hope these tips were helpful. Do you have any own hacks that you use while traveling, tell me in the comments below!
