Kalwa Lake

Lake #9 of The City of Lakes Project

K. Jagannath Kashinath Salvi Talav locally known as Shivaji Talav or Kalwa Lake.

Every rule has an exception, and this was my exception. I didn’t personally visit this lake. Sona was very kind to send me photos and videos of the lake.

At the entrance of the Kalwa lake, on the left side there are statues of men playing the dhol and on the right side, there is a statue of a farmer with four bulls.

There are boating facilities available for the locals. The lake is located near Kalwa Railway station and is surrounded by slum houses.
