Nakshatravan is a public garden in Kalwa. It has a toy train and bouncing castle for kids, Ganesh visarjan ghat, Shree Maruti Mandir, and the public garden.
नक्षत्र (Sanskrit), is a metaphorical compound of naksha – ‘map/chart’, and tra – ‘guard’.
Before entering the main park there is a toy train and bounce castle for kids to enjoy to the fullest. Also the ‘Aapla Kalwa’ sign, the Ganesh Visarjan ghat, and the Maruti mandir are located within the premises, before entering the garden.

Inside the garden park there are many exercise equipmets available for citizens. As well as a jungle gym including swings and slides for kids to play.
At the end of the garden, there are black statues representing the 12 zodiac signs. Sadly a few statues were broken, but the rest were in decent shape.
Nakshatravan is a place to go to hangout with your family and friends. Surrounded in nature, refresh yourself from the city hustle. You can also have little picnics with your friends.
Location : Near Kalwa Bridge, Adjoining Kalwa Creek.
Park Timings : 6–9am | 5–8pm

Abby Recommends :
PAY AS THE LOCALS DO. You are likely to be charged a tourist price for many things including loungers and umbrellas on the beach or things you may buy from local stalls and shops. Try and look to see or listen out for how much the locals are paying before you pay for yours.
