I love Shawarma! The right amount of bread, the right amount of chicken (lots of it). Yummmy 😋 just thinking about it gets my mouth watering.
Shawarma is a popular Levantine dish consisting of meat cut into thin slices, stacked in a cone-like shape, and roasted on a slowly-turning vertical rotisserie. Originally made with lamb or mutton, it is now also made of chicken, turkey, beef, or veal (though in India, you’ll find chicken and paneer). Thin slices are shaved off the cooked surface as it continuously rotates. (Source : Wikipedia)

I have had a few local shawarmas (ranging from ₹50 to ₹80). Though the three places I tried were more or less the same, I had only one favourite, and that too I couldn’t find after the lockdown ended.
So when my friend Meow told me about Shawarmaji I had to try. It has a wide range of flavours, from classic to piri-piri to 2 flavour fusions. They also have the same options in veg (paneer). They come in two sizes 6″ & 8″. Price ranges from ₹95 to ₹140. They also have pizzas, salad, ice tea and for caramel custard dessert.

We had Fiery, Tikka, & Firangi. And it was amazinggggg!!! It was so delicious. The second time I went there with Sona. While my friends had Chicken & Paneer Piri-piri, I tried BBQ. The BBQ Shawarma just had some sauce on the top. I wished they put more of it in the whole shawarma. Nevertheless it was so delicious. The fiery shawarma was so spicy (though I was warned).
