Social media is usually pretty and fun but at times it can get tedious & overwhelming. It can be exhausting to keep coming up with something new every now and then.
Here are some of my instagram tips & tricks which will help you to not get overwhelmed and will help you in the long run :
1. Post Sometime Later
Usually people post on Insta Stories in real time, but I would advise maybe post later in the day, or even a couple of days late. The same applies for Insta Posts, though those are mostly planned. I advise this for a couple of reasons :
- To not giveaway your current/present location.
- Enjoy your trip first, think about social media later.
- Gives you a chance to be creative with your content.
- Gives you time to plan your insta stories & feed.
2. Post When Your Audience Is Online
The best time to post would be when your audience/followers are online. You can check when your followers are active :
- Open your Instagram Feed
- Click on “Insights”
- Click on “Total Followers”
- Scroll down to “Most Active Times”
3. Plan & Schedule in Advance
I use Planoly to plan, arrange, and schedule my photos for Instagram. I also set my posts on auto-schedule, which is so helpful. I don’t need to worry everytime.
In Planoly, you can also write your captions & hashtags, add location, and tag other people/accounts. Planning & scheduling your content in advance saves you time.
4. Panorama Trick
This is a very cool trick, which I’m definitely going to use in all my future trips. Watch the video below, to learn how to do it. It’s very simple & easy, and will get you amazing insta worthy photos without comprising the beauty of the location.
5. Use Hashstags with 100k Posts
The key is to go for hashtags that are not super popular, but still used quite frequently. So aim for tags with 10k, 100k posts, etc. Just not in the millions. That gives you more discoverability and you’re more likely to get people looking at your content. (Source : Cappuccino & Fashion)
