Bombay Portico

Update : This place has been closed down.

To soften our Monday Blues, my friends & I went out for lunch to Bombay Portico in Naupada, Thane. It is a five minute walk from Teen Haath Naka junction.

The Bistro has a modern rustic look with its blue coloured walls and vintage showpieces. It is a picture perfect venue for Instagram. It is also affordable and chill place to hangout with friends & colleagues.

Paneer Kadhai Pizza

The food was appetizing. We had Panner Kadhai Pizza, BBQ Chicken Pizza, Mac & Cheese, and for refreshments we had Lemon & Passion-fruit Ice Tea. The menu mainly consists of Italian and Mexican food.

It was my friend Nemo’s birthday. Our friend Kat suggested we ask the staff to play the Birthday song. The birthday girl & I said “no, dont want” in unison. But as she was about to cut the cake, they played “Baar-baar din yeh aaye”. It was a funny moment, and it was thoughtful of the staff to make our time memorable.
