Late December, my friends & I went for lunch at the Thane Canteen in Shashtri Nagar, Thane.
To begin with, the food was mouth-watering. For starters we had Masala Papad, Corn Cheese Balls & Chicken Kebabs. For our Main Course we had, Veg Sherpa Rice with Curry and Chicken Schezwan Noodles with Curry.
Their menu consists of Chinese, Punjabi and Tandoori dishes. The price range is affordable. Most dishes cost anywhere around ₹200 to ₹300 a plate.
We all had a nice time chatting, catching up, enjoying our meal. The venue was pretty, with pleasant ambience. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing and totally instagramable.
Overall Thane Canteen provides delicious food at affordable prices, good service and an amazing experience. If you live in Thane or are visiting the city, you should definitely visit Thane Canteen.
