Christmas Sweets

Remember that Christmas is about more than presents. There are also cookies.

Christmas is so near. I can’t wait to have all those yummy treats and it share with my friends & family. Below are some of my favourite christmas sweets & their recipe links :

Kul Kuls

Kul kuls are deep fried Goan curled sweets. You get that curly shape with the help of a fork. Just roll a small piece of dough on the back of the fork. The video will give you a better idea.

Rose Cookies

Rose Cookies are Anglo-Indian cookies, originating from Kerala. These are sweet fried cookies, shaped like a rose, complete with holes to represent layers of petals. Also known as Achapam in Malayalam, Acchu Murukku in Tamil, and as Gulabi Puvvulu in Telugu.

Marzipan

Marzipan is a confection consisting primarily of sugar, honey, and almond meal. There are many variants of the recipes like using cashew nuts instead of almonds.

Rum Balls

I found two different recipes to make rum balls. I prefer the first recipe by Chef Kunal Kapur, it’s simple & chocolatety, but if you would like a nuttier version try the second recipe by Bong Eats.

Rum Cake

What’s Christmas without some rum cake! Watch the above video to make some of your own. Tip : If you don’t want to use rum, you can use orange juice.

Chocolate

If you want to make your own chocolate from scratch, here’s a simple and easy recipe. Tip: Use moulds of different shapes & sizes like hearts, flowers or christmas trees.

Hot Cocoa Bombs

I found Ro through The Try Guys. She’s always sweet & cheerful. Here’s her video on making the fun & trendy Hot Cocoa Bombs.

Writer’s Note : The above mentioned are not sponsored. I just found some sweet and simple videos, relating to my topics. Hope they be fun & helpful. Thank you!
