Kerala Cafe

So recently for lunch, I went to this new restaurant Kerala Cafe in Thane. It is a South Indian Family Restaurant that serves authentic Malabar Cuisine with a contemporary touch. This is their 5th location. They have one in Vasai & 3 more in Pune. The restaurant is beautifully decorated & adorned by photographs representing the culture of the Indian state of Kerala.

For appetizers we had Surmai fry, Kerala Chicken 65 🍗 & Paneer Pepper fry. They also served Pathimugam (Indian Red Wood soaked in water). There was also a live Appam counter. Our main intention was to have Kerala Thali but that wasn’t available. So instead we orderd Parottas & Chicken Coconut Curry. For desert we had Jaggery Coconut Custard 🍮.

The food was so delicious 😋. The place has a relaxing ambience, with comfortable seating and subtle background music. If you want to experience authentic Kerala cuisne you should definitely try Kerala Cafe. To know more about them check out their website & insta feed ⤵️
