They were too soft as I took them out of the oven. Is it a thing? That cookies still be soft out of the oven, and then turn hard as they cool off 🤷‍♀️ I tried it hot out of the oven, it was very chewy.

The cookies taste was bearable, but the texture, was off. Not enjoyable to eat. I, myself, was ignoring to eat it 😅. I kept telling myself that, I’ll dunk it in milk the next evening, but then when the evening came, I repeated my excuse. Now it’s just sitting there in the container.

After this experience, I feel butter and castor sugar will make a big difference in the cookies’ texture, and I shouldn’t have substituted it 😅. Also the white chocolate turned slightly brown. I should have listend to the chef/host, and mixed small pieces in the batter, rather than topping white chocolate chips just 2-3 minutes before fully baking.

I do want to bake red velvet cookies again. Will search for more recipes. Also might bake Red Velvet Cake, but not box mix.
